THERE are now nine confirmed cases of coronavirus in Warrington and Halton, according to government figures.
The figures are only of people tested, not those with more mild symptoms who may have self-isolated.
Across the UK, there are now more than 9,529 cases.
A total of 465 people have died from coronavirus in the UK - up 43 in the last 24 hours.
One man in his 50s, died last week at Warrington Hospital after contracting the virus.
Warrington has some of the lowest figures in the UK with several boroughs and counties in the south having hundreds of confirmed cases.
