RUGBY league fans across the world were cheered up last night by the sight of former Saints prop Mose Masoe sitting up.
Masoe is recovering from surgery after sustaining a life-changing spinal injury in an innocuous collision in Hull KR's friendly at Wakefield.
The big prop, who won the Grand Final with Saints in 2014, has been battling ever since the incident - and initially had no feeling from the chest down.
This week is the first time he has been able to sit up - and that big Mose Masoe smile sums it up.
This is fantastic to see! The big man @MoseMasoe sat up and smiling πππ» at Sundayβs @sthelens10krun please bring a Β£1 for @MoseMasoe to help towards his rehabilitation ππ» pic.twitter.com/OcWrSTmavL
