ALMOST 20 firefighters descended on a road in Oakley after a fuse board caught fire this morning.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service sent five units from Basingstoke and Fleet to the scene, on Cadnam Close.
Firefighters were on scene for almost an hour after the first call, as the fire caused a lot of smoke, according to HFRS.
*11:31* H01C3 mobilised alongside H01P6, H01P7, H01A1 also from @Basingstoke_01 and @fleet04 to a domestic fire in #Oakley. Fire in electrical fuse board in loft, smoke issuing. 2x BA, 1x HRJ, 1x MJ and PPV level 3 used to extinguish the fire.

It was dispersed using a positive pressure ventilation unit, whilst an aerial ladder platform was also used.
A spokesperson for HFRS said: "We received the call at 11.12am. There was a fire in a single storey domestic dwelling. There was a fire in a fuse board, crews from Basingstoke and Fleet attended. The stop message came in at 12.05pm."
3 pumps attended the incident, whilst 18 firefighters and one commander went to the scene.
