ADVER readers saw first-hand the disruption and damage that Storm Dennis caused.
The storm caused a tree to fall and take a telegraph pole down with it, leaving cables strewn along the top of Cricklade Road in Penhill. Police directed traffic at the scene until the road was cleared and safe to use.
A large fallen tree on Percy Street in Rodbourne blocked the road on Saturday.
Flooding on Minety Lane in Oaksey near Malmesbury made the road completely impassable.
The B&Q car park reportedly flooded and strong winds knocked down a street lamp in West Swidon and Freshbrook
Several readers remarked that their garden fences, sheds and even a brick wall had been knocked down by the gales.
The Fleming Way underpass in the town centre filled with water three inches deep, and the Coate Water underpass flooded again.
