RESIDENTS are being warned to expect winds of up to 60mph and transport disruption as Storm Dennis batters Lancashire.
The Met Office has issued the warning to all those living in the Blackburn with Darwen and Lancashire County Council boroughs for between 10am on Sunday and 12pm on Monday.
A Met Office spokesman said: "Some very strong winds are likely in association with Storm Dennis. Gusts of 50 to 60 mph are likely quite widely within the warning area for much of the period."
Residents are warned to expect some delays to road and rail transport and some short term loss of power.
