A PET rehoming centre has called on loving residents to make a Valentines wish come true for animals in their care.

As February 14 approaches, the Radcliffe-based charity Blue Cross is looking for the perfect match for their pets.

Two eight-month-old rabbits, Anna and Elsa, have been searching for a loving home for almost one month.

Elsa is the more confident of the two best friends whereas Anna is a little bit shy. Both are curious bunnies and love to explore.

These are two of the animals currently in foster care at the Blackburn Street centre.

Kayleigh Hill, Rehoming Centre Manager at Blue Cross in Greater Manchester said: “We have lots of pets in our care looking for their happy ever after.

"We hope their wishes are granted this Valentine’s Day and they all find the loving homes they deserve.”

The centre is also looking to rehome Tiny, a seven-year-old cat who has been without a home for nearly one month.

She is currently being looked after by students at Hopwood Hall College in Rochdale.

Ms Hill said: "She loves a daytime snooze in her igloo but will come out for some attention in the evening."
