We always knew where to find him because you could hear the students shouting his name down the corridor. Always a very pleasant man with a heart of gold. What is your response?Mr Shaffi was more than just a supply teacher at St Bede's and St Josephs. He was a man who defined exactly what it means to be at St Bede's and St Josephs. I remember the first time he was my supply, and that was in a pe lesson in year 7. And from year 7 to 11 he was a supply in a lot of my lessons. The last time I ever saw Mr Shaffi was in year 12 and he attempted to help me find the class I was supposed to be in.
