A NEW block of flats is set to be built near a high school and train station.
The 2.5-storey building with 12 apartments will be built at the site of Dawson House in Chapeltown Road which was recently demolished.
It is located next to Turton High School and opposite the car park belonging to Bromley Cross train station.
An initial proposal for the development was given the green light in January 2018 but the final details have now been signed off.
The building will be constructed from red brick with blue black roof tiles.
