A FORMER pub could be transformed into a tanning salon and two restaurants.
The Claremont Arms in Halliwell Road, which is being converted into shops with flats above, is set to be divided into three units.
Planning permission has already been granted to use the unit on the corner of Weymouth Street as a restaurant or cafe.
Now, an application to use the central unit as a tanning salon has been submitted.
Planning agent Sohail Musa told The Bolton News that there has been interest expressed for using the third unit as a restaurant.
