CLUBBERS are being warned of an "extremely high dosage" batch of ecstasy pills which was discovered this weekend.

The tablets - branded with the name 'Rolls Royce' - were discovered doing the rounds at popular Manchester night Warehouse Project this weekend.

Sacha Lord, who co-created Warehouse Project and works as Greater Manchester's nightlife tsar, took to Twitter to urge anyone who has taken he pills to seek medical attention.

Researchers at Manchester Metropolitan University found that the batch was more than three times as potent as an average dose.

Writing on Twitter, Mr Lord said: "Warning: Last night, scientists @ManMetUni tested these tablets that are currently in circulation.

"They have an extremely high dosage, more than 250mg.

"If you have taken them and feel unwell, please seek medical attention."
