A 13-YEAR-OLD boy was arrested following an incident in Horwich.
According to police, the boy cycled past a Bolton North anti-social behaviour patrol in Winter Hey Lane and abused officers.
The incident happened on Monday evening.
While officers were out on the patrol, they also spoke to a group of youths in Lee Lane, hanging outside the off licence.
GMP Bolton North shared news of the patrol on Facebook.
A spokesman wrote: "Last night a 13 year old male was arrested after we engaged with a group of youths on Winter Hey Lane, Horwich, and he felt it appropriate to cycle past us and repeatedly give us abuse.
"He has been strongly advised, and his father was advised with regard to ASB pathways, tenancy risk etc.
"A further group were seen hanging outside the off licence on Lee Lane, Horwich.
"They were initially quite obstructive but calmed down and left the area after being spoken to."
