Steals opened on the site of the former Littlewoods Clearance store last week and they have been impressed by the town so far.

"We have managed to take on three members of the old staff from Littlewoods and they are glad to be coming. "Some people have been telling us that there are not a lot of clothes stores in town so it is great to have them.

"There are a few female clothes shops but not so many for males to come to."

She added: "We sell ex-high streets clothing and returns as well and are very popular.

"The clothes are quite cheap and we have quite a lot of people who travel to each store as they want to pick up a bargain.

"So we may have people coming from Blackpool who will come to see what is different so we get a bit of loyalty.

"People are wanting to save money and pick up a bargain so we think it should do well here

"We sell lots of clothes, handbags and shoes and people want to see it."

Fiona believes that their move will be successful.

She said: "Chorley is a lovely place, very clean and there is a bit of a difference from Blackpool.

"There is great car parking for people to come and shop in town.

"We are hoping with the parking and shops here then people will want to come and shop here."
