Police will be stepping up street patrols following the arrest of a man.
Officers in the Highmoor Park area of Clitheroe arrested a man in the early hours of Sunday morning for acting suspiciously around a vehicle.
A spokesperson for the police said: "Can residents check any CCTV between midnight and 1:30am on September 15 to see if they have recorded coverage of a male described as 5ft 10, skinny, wearing dark clothing and a baseball cap.
"Officers would also like to remind residents to check their vehicles are locked and secure and to report to police if they have had anything taken overnight.
"We will be stepping up visible reassurance patrols in the area."
Anyone with information that can help the police should contact 101 quoting log 0093 of September 15.
