THREE men have been charged after a man was attacked with weapons in Oldham.
Reports that a man had been set upon by a group of men armed with various weapons on Kele Avenue were received by police at 9pm on September 3.
At around 9pm on Tuesday 3 September 2019, police were called to reports that a man had been attacked by a group of men – who were armed with various weapons - on Keble Avenue.
The 24-year-old victim sustained serious injuries to his arms and minor injuries to his legs as a result of the incident.
The following have been charged with section 18 assault and remanded to appear before Minshull Street Crown Court on Thursday October 3.
They are: Zidane Mahmood, 20, of Chapel Road, Oldham. Jamal Saleem, 19, of Napier Street East. Oldham and Husnain Abid, 25, of Chapel Road, Oldham.
