Motorway closures oil spills onto carriageway after crash involving three vehicles
CLOSURES are in place on the M6 this afternoon after an accident involving three vehicles.
Delays of around half-an-hour are reported on the northbound carriageway between junction 21 at Woolston and junction 21a at Croft following the crash, which is believed to have involved lorries.
Traffic officers are attempting to contain an oil spillage following the incident, with two lanes currently shut.
Queues are reported back to junction 20 at Lymm.
