POLICE have launched another appeal for information as a mum is still in a critical condition following a quad bike crash.

The 44-year-old was the driver of a Quadzilla quad bike who suffered head injuries and was taken to hospital during the incident on Carr Lane at 4.10pm on August 24.

Sgt Paul Harrison of Chorley Police said: "We are appealing for anyone with information or who may have witnessed what happened to get in touch.

"The appeal comes after the woman is in a critical condition still in hospital.

"The 12-year-old who was travelling on the bike with her was fine but the mother had to be taken to hospital."

A 24-year-old man was arrested by police on the suspicion of dangerous driving but has been released under investigation.
