TOSIN Adarabioyo and Ben Brereton are back in full training but Tony Mowbray says he probably won’t risk them against Cardiff City tomorrow.

The manager said things are improving on the injury front with his players coming through unscathed from Tuesday’s win at Hull

“Things are starting to improve,” said Mowbray. “Tosin has been on the training ground, Ben Brereton has been back training so it is starting to look a bit brighter.

“Nobody reported anything (from Hull).”

Regarding the return of Adarabioyo to possible first team action, Mowbray said: “It will depend if we feel we need to take a risk with Tosin, to throw him in to that equation. I’m not sure we need to take a risk.”

Mowbray said he would leave it as late as possible to decide if the pair will be included in the match day squad.

“We will talk to the players to see how they are feeling what is their mentality,” added Mowbray.

“Sometimes when players pick up an injury, they are a bit nervous about testing it in a game where there is no hiding place, where there is no looking after it, you have to go full pelt.

“While in training you can play at 60, 70, 80 per cent and manage the injury through. But in games you can’t.

“We will have a few conversions and we will pick the squad and pick the team.”

Meanwhile, Cardiff City will be without Marlon Pack for the foreseeable future after the midfielder - signed from Bristol City - picked up a hamstring injury at Reading.

Nathaniel Mendez Laing and Callum Paterson are both doubtful.
