A WOMAN was cut free from a vehicle which had flipped on to its roof.
Firefighters were called to Schofield Lane, Atherton on Saturday night, after the incident, which is not believed to have involved another vehicle.
Crews said the woman, thought to be in her mid-40s, is thought to have suffered possible head and neck injuries.
She was taken to Salford Royal Hospital.
The incident happened at at 11am. Crews from Atherton, Hindley and a specialist unit from Leigh were mobilised.
Fire crews were on the scene for just under an hour and used specialist equipment to free the woman.
