SUPERMARKET Aldi is helping families get prepped for the school year early with the return of its best-selling school uniform bundle.

This year they have made it 10% cheaper reducing the price to £4.50.

The range was available to purchase in stores from Thursday to help parents avoid last minute panic during the summer holidays.

The 2019 school uniform bundle includes two polo shirts (£1.75/2 pack), one sweatshirt (£1.00) and either a pair of boy’s/girl’s trousers (£1.75) or a pleated skirt (£1.75).

While many might question whether a £4.50 uniform could last for the whole school year, mums on the Aldi Shoppers UK Facebook group have shared their testimonials with one mum praising the uniform for being 'still like new' and that 'the white polo shirts are still white, which is amazing considering how much paint and dirt they’ve had on!'

The uniform trousers have also held up to knee slide testing as confirmed by another mum who said: “My 6-year-old son’s trousers were in such excellent condition after a year of hard wear, I was able to hand them to a friend for her son to use."

The full Back to School range comes in a variety of sizes, suitable from 3 to 11 years.

Julie Ashfield, managing director of Buying at Aldi said: “Parents all over the UK will be familiar with the financial concern that comes with the back-to-school uniform rush.

"We’re committed to helping reduce this worry and know how important it is for shoppers to invest in high-quality uniforms that stand the test of time.

"That is why this year, we’re delighted to be expanding our best-selling range and bringing back our bundle deal at 50p less than last year."

But shoppers will have to be quick, as with all Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone.
