A COPPULL woman has been banned from entering Asda, Tesco, Spar or Aldi supermarkets in Chorley borough after appearing before magistrates.

Angela Jayne Prescott, 40, from John Street in Coppull was at Preston Magistrates Court on June 14.

Ms Prescott entered a guilty plea for the theft of razor blades, shampoo and body spray to the value of £84.65 from Tesco in Chorley on June 13.

However, she pleaded not guilty to six other offences including the theft of £140 worth of gin from Aldi in Chorley on May 18.

Also among the incidents included garden gnomes worth £169 were taken from Asda in Chorley on May 21.

The court heard on June 3, cleaning products to the value of £100 were stolen from Spar in Chorley then the following day £209.99 worth of goods from Tesco in Chorley.

On June 5, cakes worth £10 were taken from Spar in Chorley then cleaning products and food worth £42.71, belonging to Spar were taken.

Ms Prescott has a number of aliases Tina Anne Greeney, Tina Ann Greeny, Gillian McNamara, Angela Jane Prescot.

Ms Prescott has been remanded on bail until August 23 for trial at Preston Magistrates.
