Fire crews from Blackburn attended a fire in an outbuilding in Hoghton
One person suffered burns after trying to tackle a shed fire.
Firefighters were called to the incident in Blackburn Old Road, Hoghton, just after 1.30pm on Friday.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "The fire involved a large quantity of wood in shed.
"Crews used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and assisted a casualty who had tried to tackle the fire themselves.
"Burn gel was administered to the individual and they were also provided with first aid advice."
Crews were in attendance for around 20 minutes.
