POLICE are concerned for the welfare of a missing Darwen man.
Christopher Ashworth, 33, was last seen around 7.30am today in the Birch Hall Avenue area of the town.
He is described as white, 5ft 9ins, of stocky build, with short, dark-brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his left upper arm.
He was wearing a black, possibly dark grey hooded top, grey jogging bottoms and black and white trainers at the time of his disappearance.
Mr Ashworth has links to both Blackburn and Darwen.
Sgt Vicky Bramley said: “We are very concerned about Christopher and would urge anyone with information about his location to come forward.
“Furthermore I would ask Christopher, if he sees this appeal, to let us know he is safe and well.”
