DANIEL Thwaites has received a prestigious award in recognition of its health and safety practices.
The brewery, which has been running for more than 200 years, recently achieved a Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) silver award for a high level of performance underpinned by good management systems.
RoSPA receives submissions from organisations around the world and their awards recognise achievement in health and safety management systems.
Matt Schofield, Health and Safety Manager at Daniel Thwaites, said: “Keeping our guests, visitors and team members safe is paramount to us and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.
He later added: "Of course our work is not done yet, we are striving for the gold award next.”
