A BUMPER line up of 30 teams gathered at Kendal Leisure Centre to compete in the regional version of the annual Rotary Technology Tournament.
The teams of four had four and a half hours to to design, build and demonstrate a working model of a specified project and were then judged on various criteria including planning, design, construction and degree of success
There were three categories, with Settlebeck School, Sedbergh, winning the foundation level section, Kirkbie Kendal School being triumphant in the intermediate level event while the winner of the advanced level category was the Lakes School.
The event was organised by Kendal Rotary Club and sponsored by BAE Systems.
