POLICE are appealing for the public's help to try to find a man who smashed a window at a house in Accrington.

The CCTV images have just been released on the Hyndburn Police Facebook page as the incident took place at Owl Hall, Plantation Road on February 9 at around 11pm.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "During this incident the offender approaches the front of the property holding what appears to be a large stone under their arm.

"The offender walks to the side of the premises smashing one of the small glass windows before making their way to the rear.

"They have then thrown the large stone through the large patio windows causing substantial damage."

The man also damaged a PVC door at the back of the property and police believe the man in the clip is holding the large stone as he walks through the front gate.
