POLICE have issued a warning motorists after a crash in a Chorley village.

Lancs Road Police tweeted about the incident on Lydiate Lane in Eccleston at 6.32pm last night. 

Meanwhile a spokesman for Lancashire Fire Service said: “Firefighters from Leyland and Chorley were informed that two people were trapped in their vehicles.

“No-one was in fact trapped and casualties were attended to by paramedics.

“Firefighters ensured there were no hazards in respect of fire, spilled fuel or oil, or debris.”
