POLICE are appealing for the public's help in trying to identify these people after a pensioner's bank card was stolen in Chorley.

A 74-year-old woman was approached by a man and woman outside Aldi supermarket in Harpers Lane between 10.30am and 11.15am on October 23.

The pair asked for directions to London, with the victim using a map to direct them.

The man and woman left from the scene, with the victim later realising her bank card had been taken.

Following enquiries police discovered £700 had been taken from the woman’s account by another man.

Police are appealing for information following the theft and are keen to identify these people, pictured, in connection with the offence.

PC Leanne Oxley, of Lancashire Police, said: “We want to speak to these individuals in connection with the theft of a woman’s bank card in Chorley.

“If you know who they are, please contact police immediately.”
