SENIOR councillors will receive an update on the Prevent anti-terrorism strategy tomorrow.
The External Scrutiny Committee of Lancashire County Council will examine recent changes in the scheme, aimed at stopping vulnerable individuals being radicalised..
It will look at the lessons learnt following the Manchester and London terrorist attacks in the past year.
The committee will review the work of the Lancashire Channel panel, co-ordinated by Blackburn with Darwen Council, which looks at how to support individuals identified as being vulnerable to becoming drawn to extremism.
