THINGS are getting serious on Strictly as we approach the grand final tomorrow.

And for once, we’ve probably got the best four couples through to the culmination of one of Saturday night’s finest shows.

Sure it’s camp and it’s fluffy but it is great entertainment and at least it rewards genuine talent unlike some other programmes I could mention on ‘the other channel’.

But I digress. Who will lift the gaudy glitter ball trophy? The Bookies have Louis Smith as favourite but I can’t see it (even though he does have the delicious Flavia as his partner).

No, my money’s on Nimble Kimble, proving that at least one of Girls Aloud is a genuine entertainer.

What, you say, not the professional Denise van Outen?

No, I fear the divine Denise has been rumbled if her consecutive appearances in the dance off are to believed.

But – and how’s this for a neat conspiracy theory? – you wouldn’t rule against her getting two maximum scores tomorrow night, taking the trophy and then being announced as either a judge for the next series as Craig ‘Dance Disarster’ Revel-Horwood takes a break or the new presenter as Brucie bows out.

Remember, you read it here first!
