St Paul’s Church Adlington will welcome the acclaimed choir Vox Aurum for a concert on Saturday, March 2 at 7.30 pm.

Vox Aurum is the latest incarnation of a choir which began life as Wigan Girls Choir over 20 years ago, later becoming Laudamus Choir and evolving into Vox Aurum about 12 months ago.

Their repertoire ranges from early music right up to the modern day and many of their pieces have been written specially for them.

The founder and musical director, Deborah Catterall, was for many years the director of the National Youth Training Choir of Great Britain, and many of the current line-up are, or have been, members of the various National Youth Choirs of Great Britain.

Tickets cost £6 with concessions for accompanied children at £3 and under-fives admitted free.

Tickets can be obtained from via St Paul’s Church on Sunday mornings or by ringing 01257 482471.
