The audience at the Hop Pocket public house were entertained,by The Bridgewater Blues Band.
This talented band are from the Manchester area and have been together for about two and a half years.
They played two classis blues sets ,and have mastered their craft.
On lead vocals Damien Mead, word perfect and plenty of friendly banter.
A brilliant musician by the name of Keith Mackie, played keys and harmonica and guitar, the corner stone of the band.
Next, on lead guitar, John Ingham a very accomplished player of some years, he played his socks off.
Now we come to the rhythm section, on bass guitar Chris Millward, a strong ,and confident player, and what a pulsating sound, and to finish off, we have a drummer who kept the lads in check and gave a great account .
My particular favorite of the second set was that classic number, Little Red Rooster, it certainly made the crowd crow for more, and they obliged. Next month, on March 3 we have a great band lined up for your delight, STEALER a great Blues -Rock band.
So get there early, with FREE admission and a friendly atmospher, band on stage at 9-30pm.
