The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Its effect, which
will be operative from 10th January 2018, will be as follows:
Doe Hey Grove, both sides, from its intersection with the extended westerly kerbline of Lavender Road for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction. Asher Street, east side, from its intersection with the extended northerly building line of Back Uganda Street to the extended southerly kerbline of Uganda Street.
A copy of the Order, plans and statement of the reasons may be viewed at Highways and Engineering Division, 3" Floor, Paderborn House, Civic Centre, Bolton, during office hours (by appointment tel. 01204 336677).
Anybody wishing to question the Order's provisions or validity may, within six weeks from the 3rd January 2018, apply to the High Court for this purpose.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATH TURTON BRADSHAW SOUTH N0.048] (TEMPOBARY CLOSURE) (NO.) ORDER 2018
The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice. The effect which will operative from 10" January 2018 and will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpath Turton Bradshaw South No. 048 commencing from Longsight Lane point A at grid reference SD 373935 411017 in a generally west north westerly direction to point B at the junction with public footpath Turton Bradshaw South 043 at grid reference SD 373668 411083 as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1TBS048 over a total distance of approximately 292 metres.
An alternative route will be available commencing from Public Footpath Turton Bradshaw South 048, point A at grid reference SD 373935 411017; public footpath Turton Bradshaw South 041 (Longsight Lane); then public footpath Turton Bradshaw South 043 to point B at grid reference SD 373668 411083 as shown by the blue line with arrowheads on the Order plan 1TBS048. The Order is necessary to facilitate closure of the footpath to the public on health and safety grounds due to a landslip, and will continue for a period of 6 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
