Notice of Making

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure and Regulatory Services -Places Directorate of Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to him by the said Council has made the Wigan Borough (Wigan Borough (Bridleways Tyldesley No 12)(Temporary Closure) Order 2021. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person, for a period of twelve weeks or until completion of works, commencing on 19th February 2021, except upon the permission of a police constable, from using bridleway:
? No. 12 from Point A as shown on the Order Map at its junction with public bridleway Tyldesley No. 14, Engine Lane at grid reference 368811 403723, south for a distance of approximately 480 metres to Point B as shown on the Order Map at its {unction with public footpath Tyldesley No. 11 and Lancaster Avenue at grid reference 368965 403279.

Alternative routes are available through the existing
public rights of way network.
The Order is necessary to safeguard the public
whilst works are carried out by Network Rail to
replace the road bridge on Shakerley Lane, over the
railway.

Ennerdale Road, Tyldesley - Proposed Flat Top Traffic Calming Feature Notice of Proposals NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wigan Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 90A(1), 90C, 90D and 90E of the Highways Act as amended by Schedule 10 of the Transport Act 1989 and all other enabling powers, proposes to construct a flat top traffic calming feature in accordance with the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wigan Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 90A(1), 90C, 90D and 90E of the Highways Act as amended by Schedule 10 of the Transport Act 1989 and all other enabling powers, proposes to construct a flat top traffic calming feature in accordance with the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999.
The effect of the Order will be to construct a flat top traffic calming feature, 75 millimetres high and 6 metres long, on:
? Ennerdale Road, Tyldesley, 55 metres north of its junction with Wycombe Drive.
