Notice of Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order


Denbighshire County Council has made an Order affecting vehicular traffic which will impose temporary prohibitions, restrictions and provisions along various lengths of roads and streets within the town of Rhyl, in the County of Denbigh referred to in the Schedule to this Notice.


The order is being made for reasons of public safety following the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with Welsh Government Covid-19 regulations and is intended to facilitate easier on-street mobility of the public on foot and by pedal cycle with greater safe distancing for individuals.


For the duration of the order any existing prohibitions, provisions, restrictions or one-way traffic Orders on the affected lengths of road that are contrary to the proposed changes may be temporarily suspended or varied whilst the new ones are imposed on the roads in the Schedule as stated in columns D & E.


The following Road Traffic Regulation Orders will be suspended in so far as they relate to the lengths of road referred to in the Schedule.

The Denbighshire County Council (Various Streets Rhyl Central Area Phase 2) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Street Parking Places) Order 2010


The Order will come into force on 2nd November 2020 and remain in force for a period of eighteen months.
