ALAN DIXON I would like to thank everyone for their kind words, cards, flowers and donations at this sad time. Special thanks go to my daughter, Michaela, her daddy's pride and joy and my rock for the past few months, his little buddy, Gabriel, who brought a new dimension of love into his life six years ago and my son-in-law Mark working quietly in the background keeping us all sane. Also to my family, especially my nephews Darren and Jon for their support at the worst times and being my chauffeur when I needed them. Thanks also to our close friends for many years who were there for us at all times. Thank you to the Doctors and nurses who cared for Alan over the past few months, especially at the Royal Preston Hospital who looked after Alan and myself for the last few days of his life. Thank you to the Rev. Kenneth Howles who conducted the funeral service with no fuss but a genuine warmth and affection and to Alty's Funeral Directors for their efficient and person centred service making us feel like friends not customers. Finally to our our colleagues and friends from Nutter Aircrafts Limited who came to pay their tributes to their boss for one last time. They will never know what that meant to his family.
