WILLIAM TAYLOR NORRIS Oct. 15 1929 - May 9 2021 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Norris in Campbell River, BC, Canada on May 9, 2021. Bill passed away peacefully at the age of 91. Bill was a devoted Father, Uncle, Great-Uncle, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather. Bill was a Lancashire lad born in Rishton, Lancashire, England and emigrated to Canada in 1968. Bill was predeceased by his wife Joan (1969), his second wife Mona (1993), his brother James Norris ((2019). and is survived by his children Pauline, Janet and Jeffrey, his Grandchildren Rodney, Alison, Clayton and Melanie and Great-Grandchildren Kady, Angelina, Taylor, Kendra, Jaxon and Deon and many wonderful friends. Bill worked for some time at British Aerospace in Salmesbury, and also at Mullards,in Blackburn. Bill will be remembered for his great sense of humour, his joy of singing and being a much loved Father and Grandfather. Bill enjoyed carpentry, travelling and discovering new places.

So sorry to hear about Bill,we worked together at Ribble Cement for Tommy Wards Sheffield .we worked 10 hrs a Day 7days a week. Happy Days ,seem to remember a few of the lads going to Canada at the end of the Job. Freddie Lemon. R.I.P. Bill ni=ice Man x

Enjoying stories from our Grandad Jimmy Norris about your younger years, travels around the USA & Canada, and all the stories of Blackburn Rovers wins!
