SHEILA MARY JARDINE (née HARWOOD) On Monday 15th February 2021, peacefully in Thorncliffe Care Home, Darwen, after a long and brave battle with Alzheimer's and with her loving family by her side, Fortified by the Rites of Holy Mother Church, Sheila, aged 72 years. Born in Wythenshawe, Manchester before moving to Blackburn and then Darwen. Beloved wife of Brian for 52 years, much loved mum of Mark and Darrel, loved mother-in-law of Joanne and Rhiannon, treasured grandma and nana of Lewis, Millie, Katie, Isobel and Elsie, youngest daughter of the late Austin and Florence Harwood, dear sister of Christine and Robert and sister-in-law of Anita and John, auntie of Sharon, also a good friend to many. Reposing in the Chapel of Rest, Waring McKenna Funeralcare, Grimshaw Park, Blackburn. A 12 noon Requiem Mass will be held in St Joseph's Church, Darwen on Friday 26th February followed by committal at Pleasington Crematorium at 1.30 pm. Due to current circumstances these will be by invitation only.
