Former Chorley manager Gerry Luczka has been appointed as director of football at Radcliffe Borough.
The ex-Magpies boss takes over after Peter Coyne stepped down from the role due to other commitments.
Luczka left Chorley in February after being in charge for 18 months following a disappointing run of results.
He has also had spells at Leigh RMI and Ashton United.
He said: "I know the local non-league scene like the back of my hand, so I will be using my contacts to see if I can bring in any players that will strengthen the team.
"I will also be looking at other initiatives that we can develop for the local community off the pitch.
"I have a long association with this club - I was instrumental in developing some of the facilities that are in place now and I am pleased that I now have the chance to work with the club on a regular basis.
"I saw the team play a few times last season and I think they are only two or three players away from having a good season.
"It only needs a bit of fine-tuning. We have a wonderful nucleus to take us to the next stage."
