Two prize runs for Chorley runners

Chorley AC team achieved overall 11th place in the first of the 2008 Astley Village Four Mile races with two prize-winners in Eddie Murray (1st vet 65) and John Payn (1st vet 70).
The club's runners were: 102nd Paul Bass (27:55), 121st Barry Chester (29:33), 142nd Phil McCullagh (32:08), 145th Eddie Murray (32:48), 152nd John Payn (35:09) and 155th Les Paul (35:55).
Chorley AC's Park Series next race is at Astley Park on Friday May 16 at 7pm with Juniors starting at 6.30 pm.
Other club supported runs are Great Manchester Run on Sunday May 18 and the Horwich Jubilee 5 mile on Wednesday May 21.
Club member John Swift is attempting the 'Josh Naylor' round (60 miles with some horrendous no. of feet to climb over the Lake District mountains) on Saturday May 24 and the club's best wishes go with him to do it in the time bar of 12 hours.
