Cyclists looking for an adventure are urged to sign up for the Lancashire Loop Cycle Challenge next month and help raise thousands of pounds for the Royal Preston Hospital.

Children's charity MedEquip4Kids is organising the annual challenge for September 28 and aiming to have hundreds of cyclist take part in the sponsored ride.

The Lancashire Loop offers cyclists the choice of three circular routes - 26 miles, 54 miles or 100 miles - travelling through the Bowland Fells, Ribble Valley and Lune Valley along quiet country lanes and through picturesque villages.

To take part in the Lancashire Loop Cycle Challenge, participants pay a £12 registration fee and asked to raise a minimum £35 sponsorship.

Families with children keen on cycling can pay the family rate of a £25 registration fee and £70 sponsorship to complete the 26-mile route option.

For information contact MedEquip4Kids on 0161 798 1600 or visit www.medequip4kids.org.uk for details.
