Chorley faced a Carnforth side still searching for their first league win of the season and from the kick off Carnforth soon found out that it wasn't going to be easy against the league's form team and within five minutes Chorley were 7-0 up after skipper Michael Jessiman's try was converted by Steve Pearson.
Carnforth scored their only points of the game soon after to shock Chorley into shape and the home side crossed the whitewash twice in quick succession through centre Mike Richardson and flanker Steve Goodman to leave Chorley 17-5 up at the break.
Chorley started slow in the second half and the visitors enjoyed some good field position but couldn't break Chorleys solid defence.
After some good strong running from winger Andrew Johns scrum half Chris Highton was waiting in support to get on the score sheet.
Further tries from man of the match Goodman and Richardson capped an impressive performance for the ever improving black and whites.
Skipper Michael Jessiman said after the game: "That's four wins on the bounce now and its good to see that as well as a solid defence we can put points on the board."
