Chorley's mini's started the season where they left off last season with a great win over Clitheroe by six tries to three.

The game was controlled by Chorley from the off and William Smith bagged himself a four tries during the game, other scores coming from Dane Westwood, Patrick Ostridge.

Clitheroe never allowed the game to get out of sight and during the course of the game scored three well executed tries.

However, Chorley's defence remained strong and with the good running lines learnt during the summer and the support play which was also a major feature of every training session came out on top.
