Chorley juniors returned to action after their successful tour to Colwyn Bay with a resounding win over Clitheroe who had beaten Chorley earlier in the season.
Chorley opened the scoring right from the kick-off when Alistair Hodgson ran from inside his own half to score with the conversion added by Joe Gibbs.
Chorley's bigger pack were dominating the game which led to two further tries scored by Alistair Hodgson, both converted.
Chorley's aggressive defence meant Clitheroe spent long periods on the back foot with Dan Turner and Sam Becker outstanding in defence.
Powerful drives by the forwards, in particular Jason Crompton and man-of-the-match Luke McCarrick led to scores by Jason Crompton and a brace from speedy winger-come-full-back Zak Howe.
The fast improving Chorley side have now won three out of their last four games.
Their next match is a tough fixture away to Preston Grasshoppers.
