PROMOTION chasing Chorley have agreed a five-figure sponsorship deal with motor dealer the Chorley Group for next season.

The agreement, which comes as the Magpies prepare for their Vanarama Conference North play-off semi-final first leg with Boston United tomorrow night, sees one of the longest-running commercial partnerships in non-league football extended.

And Chorley boss Garry Flitcroft is delighted by the news.

He said: “The Chorley Group have played a huge part in the success we’ve enjoyed during my time at the club and it’s great to know they are going to be right behind us once again next season.

“To be successful at this level of the game you need the support of the local business community so it’s fantastic that a major local company like the Chorley Group share our passion and vision for the club.”

Andy Turner, Chairman of the Chorley Group, added: “Garry has done an incredible job over the last five years, delivering two promotions and two cups.

“That’s why we had no hesitation in signing up for another 12 months, which will be our eighth year as the club’s main sponsor.”
