CHORLEY will be bidding to secure swift revenge on Rushall Olympic when they travel to the West Midlands in tomorrow.

The Magpies lost 1-0 at home to Rushall two weeks ago but will be hoping for victory in the return match against the Walsall-based club.

The Rushall defeat was part of a run of four matches without victory for Chorley but they returned to winning ways with a triumph over Worksop at the weekend and lead the Evo-Stik Premier Division by four points.

Ramsbottom United will aim to move into the play-off places in First Division North as they visit strugglers New Mills.

The Rams won 5-0 at home to Harrogate Railway Athletic and sit sixth in the table, one point behind fifth-placed Lancaster City.

Clitheroe are 12th in the table and are away to Ossett Town.

Padiham, who sit 17th but with an eight-point gap to the relegation zone, host struggling Radcliffe.

Bacup and Rossendale Borough will hope for help from East Lancashire rivals Barnoldswick Town as they attempt to climb out of the North West Counties Premier Division relegation zone tomorrow.

Borough could climb out of the bottom two if they win at home to mid-table West Didsbury and Chorlton, and third bottom Alsager Town lose at 16th-placed Barlick.

Brent Peters’ side missed the chance to draw level with Alsager on Wednesday night when they were beaten 2-1 at home by neighbours Colne.

Chris Anderson and Andrew Tinker gave Colne a 2-0 half time lead before Matty Bryan halved the deficit eight minutes into the second half.

Colne, who are eighth in the table, host third-placed Norton United tomorrow.

Nelson’s march towards the First Division title will continue if they win at Ashton Town.
