5:50pm Friday 15th July 2011 in Chorley CC
Chorley face a crucial weekend for their hopes of lifting the Northern Premier Cricket League championship.
Andy Holdsworth’s side have made a remarkable revival after finishing second bottom to Lancashire Colts, who only played 13 games, in 2010 and they currently trail only leaders St Annes (148 points from 15 games) and defending champions Leyland (139 points from 15 games) having reached 128 points from their 13 matches so far this season.
On Saturday, Chorley are away at Blackpool and on Sunday play hosts to Lancashire Colts in what will be the last game for the Colts for performance analyst Jason Swift, the Colts captain who will move to join ex-Lancashire colleague Stuart Law on the coaching staff at Bangladesh.
