And Chorley’s hopes of third will only be boosted as Colne’s brilliant professional Anwar Ali stands in for tomorrow’s game with Leyland at Windsor Park.

In the Second Division, Chorley are in contention for second place and they boast the division’s leading run scorer, David Catterall, who aims to pass 500 runs for the season in tomorrow’s derby at Leyland.
