STUTTERING Chorley can claim back their Northern League second spot tomorrow when they face the side who leap-frogged them last weekend.
The locals entertain Preston at Windsor Park but it will be a test against the league’s form side as they aim to keep up the pressure on leaders St Annes, who themselves face a tough test at neighbours Blackpool.
Chorley skipper Jack Catterall is out for the season as he recovers from his broken thumb so Andy Holdsworth leads the side for their biggest game of the campaign to date, a derby with extra spice given the tense nature of the league.
