Three triathlons in three weeks

Chorley Harrier Dave Herne took on his third triathlon in as many weeks in the tough event at Keswick.
After a 750m swim, 23 mile hilly bike ride and a fell run over the 1000ft Walla Crag, Herne was 32nd of 260 finishers and is in good shape for the Ironman Roth contest in July.
Fellow Harrier Mark Ellithorn was 8th at the Burnley Lions 10k in 37.52 with the club's Ian Crabtree returning to race action with a top 30 finish in 41.34.
