Micaela Brindle, 14, who attends Albany Science College, Chorley, and runs for Wigan Harriers, won two gold medals in the North of England U15 championships on Sunday May 25.
The first was for the long jump with a jump of 5.22m, a new personal best.
The second was for the 75m hurdles where in her heat she ran a massive personal best of 11.47 sec, then in the final ran 11.53 sec.
